At the Mobile World Congress in 2013, Samsung introduced a mobile application Wallet, which serves as the “Electronic Wallet” to describe at the online developers of Samsung. The Wallet app will be released in May 2013 with the Android operating system.
“Electronic Wallet” is designed to store electronic versions of tickets (concerts, sporting events and other activities), membership cards, airline boarding passes and etc. Wallet accesses the information about these documents from the respective applications on your phone. User-friendliness is that due to the “wallet” all the data are in the same place.
Samsung Wallet Overview
Wallet sends a notification to the user, which can be time-specific (e.g., “You have to go to the journey tomorrow“) or location (e.g., “You are next to the pharmacy, where you have a discount“). Information on the form contained in the “wallet“, updated in real time. Thus, a user who keeps Wallet boarding pass on the plane will be able to know in a timely manner that the number has changed at the gate.
Wallet app will be released in May 2013 and will be installed on the Samsung smartphones with the running Android operating system. The developers will be able to support Wallet in its programs from March 7 – the day Samsung will provide them with the necessary API.
